Residents in Azle experienced heavy rain and strong wind during storms Thursday night.
Homes along the Eagle Mountain Lake peninsula were hit the hardest. Several trees were uprooted and fell onto homes and decks.
Some homeowners were left with roof damage.
“This was the worst storm we have ever witnessed,” resident Raul Moreno said. “The storm came in around 9 p.m. and continued to pound us. The water was high; we could feel the wind, it had to be about 50 to 60 mph."
No injuries were reported.
