Storms Continue Tonight

Threat of severe weather continues

A tornado watch remains in effect for Dallas and Fort Worth and areas to the south and southwest until 2am.

Strong and severe thunderstorms will continue across North Texas this evening.

The strongest storms have stayed west of the metroplex through 7pm.

A tornado warning was issued for parts of Hood and Parker County, from Lipan to Tin Top, but no tornadoes were reported.

Some flooding was reported between 5pm and 6pm south of Mineral Wells, near I-20 and US-281.

During the evening, moist unstable air will continue to spread across all of North Texas and the risk of severe weather will continue until late this evening.

The main severe weather risks will be hail to nickel size and deadly lightning.

All of the rain and storms will shift eastward and out of our area by Tuesday morning.
