It wasn't too long ago that boat ramps were closed due to low lake levels. Now, the boat ramp at Pilot Knoll Park in Highland Village is closing temporarily due to high water.
The Highland Village Parks and Recreation Department said the boat ramp is under water and the lake leves are anticipated to rise.
As soon as the waters recede, the boat ramps will re-open.
The parks and rec department is also scrubbing the Movie in the Park screening scheduled for May 15. The final movie in the series, Dolphin Tale 2, will be screened on May 29 at Unity Park.
At this time, no other events at the park have been canceled.
