Another Day, Another Power Outage

Thousands without power after strong storms

Thunderstorms have drenched parts of North Texas and left thousands of homes and businesses without power for another day.

Dallas-based utility Oncor on Wednesday reported nearly 33,000 customers without electricity in the early morning.

Most of the latest Oncor outages are in the Fort Worth area. Oncor's outage information listed over 15,000 Fort Worth area customers without power at 8 a.m.

Rain and strong winds early Tuesday left behind damage in Wise County and other locations in the area. More bad weather reached North Texas by Tuesday night.

The latest round of storms followed multiple days of power outages for North Texas residents as high winds, then strong thunderstorms, knocked out power to many areas of the Metroplex. Some viewers have reported up to eight hours before power was restored to some areas.
