Three people were injured in a wrong way crash in Garland on Saturday afternoon. The crash shut down northbound I-635 LBJ Freeway at the La Prada Drive exit. But highway totally reopened Saturday evening.
Garland police confirm the driver of a BMW entered the northbound lanes while driving southbound. It hit a Toyota SUV, causing it to flip over. Another vehicle was also struck.
Police told NBC DFW three people were injured, including the wrong-way driver. Two people were taken to the hospital. Their names have not been released.
Police have not said yet whether charges will be filed. Officers do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.
Traffic in both directions resumed as normal on Saturday evening.
