Van Rolls, Injuring Seven in Arlington Crash

Cause of the crash is under investigation

A van carrying seven women rolled over and crashed in North Arlington at about 8 a.m. Friday morning, closing part of Davis Boulevard between Lamar Boulevard and Green Oaks Boulevard.

Arlington firefighters had to cut the roof off of the van to free seven women who were trapped inside the van. All of the women were injured and hospitalized, including one who was airlifted. None of their injuries are believed to be life-threatening, police said.

The crash took place near the intersection of North Davis Boulevard and Anita Drive when a car pulled out into the roadway. The details of the crash are under investigation.

The driver of the car was not hospitalized.

The northbound lanes of Davis are expected to reopen by 10 a.m.
