Drivers in Northern Collin County could experience delays this weekend.
The Texas Department of Transportation is closing Preston Road between Rock Hill Road in Frisco and Prosper Trail to widen Preston.
Drivers on U.S. 380 will also be detoured around the Preston Road bridge.
Lane closures will begin Saturday at 8 p.m. The lanes are expected to reopen Sunday morning.
