A woman in her 20s who ran onto Interstate 35E after an argument was fatally struck by a vehicle Monday morning, officials said.
The woman was staying at the Marriott Suites Hotel when she and her friend had an argument, the Dallas County Sheriff's Office said. The woman ran out of the hotel and across the freeway and came back, the Dallas County Sheriff's Office said. She went across the freeway a third time when she was fatally struck by a vehicle which fled the scene, officials said.
The DCSO responded to the location on northbound I-35E and Inwood Road. The woman's body was found near Medical District Drive, officials said.
The vehicle that struck her didn't stop and there is no information on the make or model of the vehicle, officials said.
The woman's name has not been released.
