The cost of illegal parking went up Monday in Fort Worth.
Some of the increases include:
Double parking - $35
Parking in a "No Parking" zone - $30
Having an expired parking meter - $25
Fines not paid within the 14 date of the citation are subject to an additional $25 penalty.
The fine increase brings Fort Worth in line with other North Texas cities.
