Krum Line Reopened After Derailment

Nobody hurt in 7-car-derailment in North Texas

A North Texas rail line that closed following a seven-car derailment has been repaired and reopened.

BNSF Railway spokesman Joe Faust says the line near Krum, about 40 miles north of Fort Worth, reopened late Monday morning.

Faust says nobody was injured in the derailment Sunday morning. He says the cars that derailed were hauling sand and some of the load spilled.

Faust says BNSF investigators are trying to determine what caused the southbound train to derail.

The freight train was traveling from Tulsa, Okla., to Fort Worth.
