A Dallas police officer is recovering in the hospital after a Thursday morning accident.
It happened at the intersection of Walnut Hill Lane and Audelia Road.
Police say it appears a van tried to turn left onto Walnut Hill when it collided with the officer's patrol car. The airbags did deploy.
Paramedics took the officer to Baylor Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver was not hurt.
Investigators can't say who was at fault.
