All lanes of northbound Interstate 45 have reopened south of Dallas after an early-morning crash Friday.
Hutchins police said a tractor-trailer and a car collided south of Interstate 20, near Dowdy Ferry Road, just after 4 a.m., spilling fuel onto the highway.
Officials said one person was hospitalized after the crash, though further details are not yet known.
By 5:15 a.m. the wreckage had been cleared from the scene, but firefighters were waiting on a hazmat crew to arrive to remove the spilled fuel from the road.
