Both the east and westbound lanes of Interstate 30 were temporarily closed near State Highway 161 in Grand Prairie on Thursday afternoon because of a major crash.
The lanes were closed to allow CareFlite to land on the interstate. The eastbound lanes reopened once CareFlite was away from the scene.
All westbound lanes were reopen by 6 p.m.
One person injured in the crash was airlifted to Parkland Hospital.
