Extreme heat and humidity has caused a busy highway road to buckle about a foot high on an overpass, according to Val Lopez with the Texas Department of Transportation.
The problem on the bridge is in the eastbound lanes of Bass Pro Drive bridge over State Highway 121 in Grapevine.
It’s closed now. Lopez said they hope to have it repaired and reopened by Monday evening.
Grapevine police shared a video of cars driving over the bump as their bumpers nearly bounce down to the ground.
