A major highway in North Texas has reopened after a crash involving several vehicles shut it down for several hours Tuesday afternoon, police say.
The north and southbound lanes of Interstate 35E near Corinth Parkway in Corinth were closed after a semi-truck crashed with eight other vehicles.
The collision sparked a fire in the cab of the truck, according to Lt. Jimmie Gregg with the Corinth Police Department.
The fire was extinguished and no one was seriously injured.
Traffic was detoured onto the frontage roads.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
