The driver of an 18-wheeler that crashed in Dallas Friday morning is in serious condition.
Dallas police the crash closed a portion of Interstate 635 for hours Friday in Lake Highlands.
Video from Texas Sky Ranger showed the big rig slammed through the center divider of the freeway.
Both westbound and eastbound lanes of I-635 were closed near Plano Road. By 10:45 a.m., eastbound traffic was backed up to Forest Lane and westbound was backed up to Garland Road.
Further details haven't been released at this time.
Editor's note: Dallas police originally said there was one fatality in this crash. On Friday evening, they changed that to say the driver was seriously injured.
