Animal lovers can find a furry friend that will pull their heart strings without emptying their pocketbooks at the Plano Animal Services summer sale.
The shelter is offering a special $25 adoption fee for all adult dogs and cats that have been at the shelter for more than two weeks.
The special sale is an effort to quickly move the pets into loving homes and reduce summer crowding, the shelter said.
The adoption fee includes spaying or neutering, vaccinations, microchips and heartworm tests for dogs.
