After 20 years in waiting a popular piece of property in Uptown Dallas is finally being developed.
CityVille at Katy Trail will become the next addition of luxury apartments located at Cole and Lemmon.
The 5 story complex will include over 200 units and 8 thousand square feet of retail and restaurant space.
In 1984, developers broke ground on what would have been a $200 million luxury hotel and country club on what will be CityVille. Shortly after digging the complex's seven-story underground parking garage, the real estate bust caused the build to default on loans -- and let the "Hole on Cole" fill up with water.
Later the City of Dallas filled in the dig as concerns were raised over nearby streets collapsing.
