Dallas, Texas --- North Dallas’ Pho Colonial Authentic Vietnamese Diner is now open at the North East corner of Frankford Crossing on Frankford Road at Dallas Tollway.  The newest concept by restaurateur Khanh Dao, Pho Colonial focuses on the freshest ingredients available in signature Vietnamese dishes to create a palate of flavors reflective of Vietnam’s rich culinary heritage and influences.

Casual and affordable, Pho Colonial’s menu includes a selection of Pho, traditional Vietnamese soup served with fresh vegetables and herbs for garnishing to taste,  Bánh Mì, fresh baguette sandwiches with choice of grilled meats or house-made goose-liver pate, Bún, vermicelli noodles with choice of grilled meats as well as Small Bites and Chefs’ Specials.

Additionally, the menu features Vietnamese coffees, bubble teas, domestic/imported beers and a selection of wines and sakes.

“Vietnamese cuisine is vibrant in color, fresh, flavorful, and very healthy,” says Khanh, Pho Colonial founder, creator and Chief Pho Taste Maker.  “Vegetables are rarely cooked and meats are prepared with care to maintain texture.  Dishes are served with a variety of condiments to encourage diners to be creative and test their taste buds.”

With restaurant experience that spans over a decade, Khanh Dao’s projects have included award-winning concepts Voltaire, Steel Restaurant and Lounge and Draelion.
