Original Pancake House Moves West into Grapevine

The Original Pancake House moves in to Tarrant County

The Original Pancake House picked Grapevine for its first Tarrant County location.  It opens May 28 at 1505 William D. Tate Blvd. between Buffalo Wild Wings and Boston Market.

"The owners scout out the areas and felt it would be a good location to start with in Tarrant County as we move west," said Andre Craig, Director of Community Affairs/Marketing. "Next one, hopefully will be in Fort Worth."

Craig brought all the fixin's -- buttermilk pancakes, bacon and sausage -- to NBCDFW this morning hoping to get help spreading the word about the new place.  Of course, it worked.

The five other Original Pancake House restaurants in North Texas are in Dallas, Frisco and Plano.  The concept started in Portland, Ore., and has more than 100 locations across the country.
