John Tesar to Host Underground Dinner

Chef John Tesar is hosting an "underground dinner" at 7:30 p.m. on August 11, but he's not telling where.

Well, not until 24 hours before the event. Let us explain.

Traditional "underground dinners" are private affairs that let people in the know quickly and quietly show up for a delicious meal from an admired chef. The problem is, you do have to know someone who knows someone.

Luckily for you, dear readers, nearly anyone can join Tesar's "underground dinner" by reserving a seat at their EventBrite page.

Dinner will cost guests $99 each and will include select wines from Terlato Wine Group, but guests could also BYOB if desired.

Diners can expect five courses from Tesar, which will include some glimpses into the opening menu for his new restaurant, Spoon Bar and Kitchen. That spot is set to open this Fall in Preston Center.
