Crepe Named After Mavs' Center

Addison restaurant honors Tyson Chandler

Flippin’ Out Crêpes & Coffee, an original crepe and coffee-themed restaurant, which will open the second day of July has named one of its crepes after Tyson Chandler.

Stuffed with herb-roasted chicken, spinach and mushrooms covered in bacon sauce, the crêpe named for the Mavs’ center is a savory selection.

The first six people who order the crêpe each day opening week will receive a complimentary ice tea.

Flippin’ Out Crêpes are made to order and are specially wrapped so customers can order it to-go and eat it by hand.

“Our Executive Chef, Scott Hoffner, has developed a menu that will truly satisfy all tastes,” said Flippin’ Out Crêpes owner Carl Peterson.

Hoffner is Chandler's personal chef.

Diners who want to order something other than the “Tyson Chandler Crepe” may want to ask for one of the following: The Midland -- Bacon, egg  and smoked cheddar, Lemon Chicken -- Herb crusted with asparagus, parmesan and lemon cream sauce, Gulf Coast -- sautéed shrimp, lump crab, roasted Pasilla peppers and Pontchartrain cream sauce or Nutella -- Buttery chocolate hazelnut spread with bananas and strawberries.
