Burgers For All Tastes

This ‘burger girl’ uses only fresh meat

Servers in tight tank tops are taking orders at the newest ‘Class A’ restaurant concept to open on McKinney Avenue -- Burger Girl.

“Our items average $6.99 on the menu. Ice cold beer, great looking servers and here we are right in the middle of downtown. What more could you ask for?” said owner Nick Galanos.

It’s true that Burger Girl’s menu leaves little more to ask for. There are nine burgers to choose from, including a Kobe beef burger, fish and chip’s burger and chicken burger.

The beef is ground up and delivered fresh daily from a butcher down the street. Both regular French fries and sweet potato fries are hand cut in house, according to Galanos.

An interesting mix of starters: potatoes Gorgonzola (oh carbs), chicken wings, fried pickles and calamari is offered. Five different salads ands three sandwiches (try the killer club) are also on the menu. The handspun milkshakes are a sweet end to a meaty, fried meal.

The menu is a little all over the place, but in a good way. Good if you’re hungry anyways.

The bar, coupled with a menu that doesn’t change after witching hour is sure to draw the late night crew.
