Steal Fergie's Sleek Rock ‘N' Roll Style

The glittering celebrity crowd is fresh of this year's Golden Globes, but before you know it, they'll be strutting around Dallas in celebration of the 45th Super Bowl. You can expect to see famous faces like Demi Moore, Kim Kardashian, and Christina Aguilera in town for the Big Game, and if you're planning on attending any of Dallas' star-studded events, you better look party perfect.

We'll be talking about all of our favorite celebs prior to Texas' first Super Bowl, but today, we're focused on the prettiest member of the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie. Love her risk-taking, rock-star style? We'll tell you how to channel the halftime performers look.

Fergie's once-challenged fashion sense (remember all those awful schoolgirl skirts?) has drastically improved in the last few years, and during November's American Music Awards, she was among the best dressed in her forward, embellished dress by British label, Falguni and Shane Peacock.

We adored the royal purple color of her frock, and we've built our own version of Fergie's look around the rich shade. Taking into consideration the temps in Dallas in early February, we chose this long-sleeved jersey dress by Nicole Miller. With an already sexy fit, it was easy to dress up the basic silhouette with jewelry and major, studded shoes by genius, Sam Edelman.

Our favorite pick among the recommended accessories? The cage-inspired handbag by new label Anndra Neen. The bags, designed by sisters Annette and Phoebe Stephens, debuted in the November 2010 issue of Harper's Bazaar, and the line, whose jewelry came along a bit earlier to moderate success, achieved instant star-status in fashion's inner circles. We feel the pictured bag is especially appropriate, since it's shaped like a pigskin.
