Who's Where When? Nov. 3rd – 9th

It's election week; so cast your vote for one of these picks in our weekly list of things to do.

Tuesday
It's election day, and your best bet is to find a shindig for watching the numbers trickle in. If you're more of the party planner type,

Wednesday
- The "Hook" should bring you to Blues Traveler's show at the H.O.B. 8 pm Wednesday. Lead singer John Popper has lost quite a bit of that heft you might remember from Blues Brothers 2000, but that hasn't stopped his voice from being top notch.
- Got a "Constant Craving" to see K.D. Lang? She'll be the Candian crooning onstage at the Bass Performance Hall, 9 pm.

Friday
- Cobra Starship and Forever the Sickest Kids are the two I'm most familiar with at the H.O.B. on Friday. Sing It Loud and Hit The Lights are the other two alt acts rounding out the bill, but those sound more like commands from a musical theater director than quality band names like Cobra Starship. Doors at 6, early birds.
- Bishop Allen just got their name on the silver screen in a recent moving picture entitled "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist." That could be a good thing or a bad thing. They play Hailey's Friday night at 9 pm alongside An Horse, Warship, and Electric Owls. Should be more intimate than their next show: Ghostbar on Saturday night.

Saturday
J.R. Ewing comes back to Dallas. Granada. 5 pm. 30th anniversary reunion of "Dallas." Isn't that enough for you?
