    Stars/Mavericks at AAC
When we first saw the schedules, we thought there was a mistake, but it's true: both the Stars and the Mavs are in town to play tonight at the AAC...just hours apart. Turco and the Stars start at 1:00 p.m., while Dirk and crew start at 8:00 p.m. After the skaters leave the ice, the real event begins, as the AAC floor crew will have to turn a hockey rink into a basketball court in just hours. Let's hope there's no overtime. If not, Cuban could be jumping up in down in a puddle.

MystiQal, 5 to 11 pm., Victory Park
Mardi Gras isn't far away (though since I've broken my diet, I have a Fat Tuesday every week) and Dallas is celebrating. Brazil, Midnight, Inwood Theater
Though I'm not the biggest fan of Terry Gilliam's cult film Brazil, I have to agree that this is one sweet screening. Inwood Theater has a copy of the uncut European release of the Orwelian-future-steampunk-beaucratic film that they'll screen at midnight tonight. WARNING: It's the last day of presentation, and you can't "just rent the DVD" -- all U.S. versions have pieces cut out. [More Info]
