Petticoat Pretty at The Women's Museum

Want to go behind the seams of the fashion scene? The new interactive exhibit from the Women's Museum, dubbed "Petticoats and Slide Rules," will give you an intimate look at the history, engineering, and creative process of the American garment industry.

In celebration of Women's History Month, "Petticoats and Slide Rules" focuses on the role of females in engineering throughout many professions from the 1900's to present, and the exhibition's look at the connection between fashion and the finite science of design and technology is unparalleled.

"Petticoats and Slide Rules" is, in our opinion, the ultimate tribute to women both stylish and smart; recently opened, the The Women's Museum will continue the show through November 3.

Enjoy the gorgeous photography, letters, and fantastic artifacts included in "Petticoats & Slide Rules" at the Women's Museum, 3800 Parry Avenue, Tuesday through Sunday from Noon to 5 p.m.

Purchase your tickets online or at the museum to visit the exhibit; ticket prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $3 for children.
