Rahr & Sons Brewing Company will honor their namesake, a pug named Oscar who passed away this month with a “pug crawl”.
The wide-eyed pug belonged to Rahr & Sons Founder and President Fritz Rahr's mother-in-law.
"Oscar will be greatly missed," said Rahr in a press release. "He was the driving force behind Ugly Pug, and his death has impacted many of our loyal supporters."
Deets:
The event starts in Fort Worth at 5 p.m. at Yucatan Taco Stand and will continue on to Lili's and then Spiral Diner from 6:30-7:30 p.m. It ends at The Usual from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Participants can buy limited edition t-shirts at the "pug crawl" for $20 and all proceeds will benefit the DFW Pug Rescue Club, which rescues all pugs, regardless of age or medical condition.
The organization has rescued more than 5,000 pugs at a rate of approximately 10 a week.
