Glow-in-the-Dark Runners Raise Money, Awareness

Glow Dallas raises money for homeless

On Friday, Aug. 3, an estimated 1,200 runners will meet at Reverchon Park at 8 p.m. for a 5k run.

The run, organized by Glow Dallas, benefits Back on My Feet, an organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals gain the life skills necessary to overcome homelessness.

A DJ will set the beat at the starting line and the runners will help light the night for a better tomorrow.  Ready, set, glow!

Back on My Feet, launched in Philadelphia in 2007, is a national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to creating independence and self-sufficiency within the homeless and other underserved populations by first engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem.
