    Each year, wine lovers wait with glasses in hand to taste the latest Beaujolais Nouveaus.

    Today is the day some French wine lovers celebrate.

    Traditionally, the third Thursday in November, at one past midnight, over a million cases of Beaujolais Nouveau are shipped around  the world from France.

    In smaller French towns, London, BeijingLas Vegas and even here in Dallas, celebrations are held to ring-in the occasion. 

    According to reports, tasters said this years wine has raspberry tones and is more popular with younger wine drinkers.

    If you would like to celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau day here in North Texas, there is a 25th anniversary celebration on Friday at the World Trade Center.
