Collin County Animal Services are offering discounted adoption rates for black dogs and cats.
According to the shelter, dogs and cats with black fur are often overlooked at the shelter.
To encourage more adoption, all black, and mostly black, dogs and cats can be adopted for only $25 through July 20.

The shelter is located at 4750 Community Boulevard in McKinney and they are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
