JAZZY ART: Drop by the DMA for a jazzy dinner and drink combo during their Jazz In The Atrium series. Convienently, the latest event is tonight at 8:00 p.m., which could serve as your kick-off for a jazz-filled long weekend -- the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival starts tomorrow, after all.

ATOMIC FUNK: George Clinton, the mastermind of Parliament, returns to the DF-Dub to bring out the P-Funk at the House of Blues tonight at 8:00 p.m. We kinda sad he wasn't here earlier in the week, if only to make a joke about "going green." Then again, it is Earth Day...

FRESH FEST: ...which reminds us to remind you about Mockingbird Station's "Green Carpet Dallas" event. We previewed the event earlier this week (click here to read about it), but the highlight to us is the farmers market. In fact, we'll be talking a lot about farmers markets soon...
