12/11: Drama-Rama

HER PRIME: The Waltons' Ronnie Claire Edwards lives in a church she's renovating on Swiss Avenue in Dallas and cracks the whip for a Bath House audience as the prim lead in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, adapted from Muriel Spark's novel by Jay Presson Allen. Presented by Echo Theatre's Echo reads series. 8PM.

ROCKIN' FACES: London in the '70s was a bit about the Faces, when Ian "Mac" McLagan teamed with Rod Stewart and Ron Wood to live hard and rock harder. See him with Denton-local celeb Brent Best at Dan's Silverleaf, 9:30PM.

CLIFF HANG: The new hippie bookstore in Oak Cliff is taking cues from the neighborhood and partnering with another venue to expand your Tyler Street experience. The first Cliff Notes Open Mic at Mighty Fine Arts features poet Joey Cloudy of Death List Five before welcoming all comers to share music, words, or performance art. The sharing starts at 8PM.
