LOW POINT: All Time Low caused a ruckus at the Bamboozle Road Show this summer at Six Flags – and were later banned from the park – but luckily, the pop punk troupe is still allowed in Dallas. Visiting the House of Blues tonight the banned band are making it up to fans with round two (hopefully without the pepper spray commotion) and a preview of their upcoming album “Dirty Work.” See the Baltimore natives with Rocket to the Moon in the Cambridge Room bring down the house starting at 8 p.m.
YOU’RE FROZEN CHARLIE BROWN: See Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang freeze out this Christmas at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine. ICE! returns for the 2010 holiday season featuring “A Charlie Brown Christmas” by Charles Schulz. As part of the Lone Star Christmas celebration, the frozen attraction carved from nearly 2 million pounds of ice by 40 Chinese artisans, opened Friday and will stay chilled at 9 degrees until Jan. 3. The icy adventure is open daily, including holidays – visit early before the crowds take over and the carved characters melt away.
CUE THE QUARTET: Celebrating Dallas Chamber Music’s 66th season, the Prazak Quartet visits Southern Methodist University tonight for an enchanting musical performance. The quartet hailing from Prague will perform music from Richter, Matinu and Beethoven. With three members specializing in violin stringing and one cellist – the ensemble makes for one bold musical adventure. Embrace the sounds of music at the Caruth Auditorium at 8 p.m.
