THINK AND SEE: The Dallas Contemporary invites families to come for a hands-on, 101-style introduction to contemporary art for its Art Thinkers' Days series. Saturday's featured artist is Fort Worthian Vernon Fisher, whose exhibit Dead Reckoning is on at the museum until December. 11AM.
MAKE-OVER: So you're making all your Christmas gifts this year? Have you started yet? We're not doubting you can do it, but we thought we'd mention (again) the more than 85 designers and crafters with booths full of funky clothes, jewelry, housewares, paper goods and trinkets for sale at Make's Urban Street Bazaar in Bishop Arts this weekend. (We hear there are supplies for sale, too.) Saturday from noon to 8PM and Sunday from noon to 4PM.
BREWS AND BOAS: Those spicy Dr. Sketchy drawing sessions we told you about last spring are traditionally held at bars. But the cabaret-style figure drawing class takes a break from booze and sets up in Denton at Banter on Sunday, where artists can put a serious face on and soberly sip their coffee while models Kali Ann, Jade Pearl, Zamra and Bridgette Noir will pour on the sass 'till someone breaks a smile. Proceeds go to Breast Cancer Prevention. 6-9PM.
