Will Smith Screens “Seven Pounds” in Dallas

Charity screening benefits food banks

Dallas rolled out the red carpet last night for one of Hollywood's biggest stars.

Will Smith premiered his new film "Seven Pounds" in Dallas last night.

To get into the screening, the audience was asked to donate a non-perishable food for the North Texas Food Bank.

Smith said, "I feel it's a responsibility, you know...we, we gotta help."

Smith put on a special Dallas Stars jersey adorned with the number 7 -- maybe due to "Seven Pounds," the film being promoted -- as crowds cheered outside the Cinemark 17 in Dallas.
