We All Still Know MJ

Michael Jordon is still the most recognized name in the country, according to a Dallas-based company. And the Obamas are the new celebrity power couple.

Davie Brown Entertainment uses an index to that ranks how Americans feel about more than 2,000 celebrities, the Dallas Morning News reported.

The index measures how people feel about the celebrities in an effort to see how "endorseable" they are.

Do we trust them? Are they appealing? Are they influential?

As you can imagine, train-wreck celebs such as LiLo don't rank too high -- explaining why we don't see Lindsay Lohan hawking Lancome like, say, Anne Hathaway.

President Barack Obama tops a recent list, the Dallas Morning News reported. And he and first lady Michelle Obama are even bigger than Brangelina.

But interestingly enough, the president only came in second on trustworthiness to Morgan Freeman, who has not been president, but once played one on the big screen.

And despite his time away from the basketball court, Michael Jordan still has the most recognized name.

Davie Brown account manager Matt Fleming told the Dallas Morning News that MJ has had "amazing staying power" and has built an "incredibly successful" brand.

Which, of course, is why we shouldn't expect those Hanes commercials with Charlie Sheen and Cuba Gooding Jr. mooning over His Airness to go off the air anytime soon.
