Jerry World may have another top show in 2009.
U2's official Web site listed for a time on Monday an Oct. 12 concert during its 360-degree World Tour at the new stadium in Arlington. But the information was later removed from the site.
The pop band's Web site says concerts will be in 11 cities in September and October. Dallas is listed as one of the cities, but no specific dates or venues are listed.
The tour promoter, Live Nation, and a spokesman for the stadium both told the Dallas Morning News that the Oct. 12 date was not official.
A spokeswoman for Live Nation told the newspaper the new stadium is a possible venue for U2's tour, which starts this summer in Barcelona, Spain.
The only concert announced for the new Cowboys stadium is George Strait's opening of the venue on June 6.
