Movie Review Round-Up

It's an early release week for many films trying to capitalize on the Thanksgiving holidays, but are these films just stuffing with no substance? Look at these reviews before you go to the multiplex.

FOUR CHRISTMASES
We're sorry, Townies, but it looks like the movie most of you were excited about is complete trash. Rotten Tomatoes has it currently sitting at a 23% fresh rating from critics overall, while Pegasus News' review ends with a pretty harsh summary: "Booo!"

TRANSPORTER 3
The third "Transporter" movie looks to be the third place finisher in the series, according to Pegasus News. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 39% fresh rating, which is lower than expected with a film directed by someone named Megaton.

AUSTRALIA
Baz Luhrmann's latest isn't his greatest. Critics are pretty evenly split on the quality of "Australia," giving it an average of 48% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

MILK
The highlight of the week is Sean Penn as Harvey Milk, the first openly gay person to be elected to public office in California. "Milk" has gotten glowing reviews both from Pegasus News and Rotten Tomatoes high fresh rating of 93%.

Now, it's likely someone in the comments will think this a great opportunity to bring up homosexuality and it's rights/wrongs/etc. We just want to say, if you don't want to see "Milk," don't see "Milk." But for those of you who are looking for a good film, "Milk" looks promising.
