Asian Film Festival returns to Dallas

Time to get your kung-fu on! Fans of Hong Kong action films, dramas, documentaries, comedies, independent releases and horror flicks (remember director Takashi Miike's  β€œAudition”? -- eek!) will line up for the 8th Annual Asian Film Festival this month.

This year’s lineup includes films from Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam and the U.S. This is a chance to see films that won’t be screened again in Dallas.

Opening night features the Hong Kong police thriller β€œBeast Stalker” whereas closing night will feature the Chinese historical blockbuster β€œIp Man.” The centerpiece film of the festival is the documentary β€œKimjongilia”.
