Several street closures will be in effect in the coming days across Fort Worth as the city hosts the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

Considered the “Super Bowl” of professional rodeo, the stage is now set for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Arlington.

National Finals Rodeo organizers say the event will provide a “huge opportunity” for Fort Worth, Arlington and North Texas as a whole, to help those in the hospitality industry get back to work, NBC 5’s Alanna Quillen reports.

Officials in Arlington and Fort Worth will welcome rodeo fans this week with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo taking place at Globe Life Field. NBC 5’s Alanna Quillen reports how pandemic safety protocols will be enforced throughout the event.

Considered the “Super Bowl” of professional rodeo, the stage is now set for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Arlington. The event moved from its longtime home in Las Vegas due to coronavirus restrictions. NBC 5’s Lili Zheng got an inside look at the preparation.

Bob Tallman of Parker County is considered to be the voice of professional rodeo and will be honored Monday night in Fort Worth.

A major event is returning to Texas, the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo will be hosted at Globe Life Field in Arlington. NBC 5’s Lili Zheng reports it’s the first non-baseball event at this park since opening.
