After a chilly stretch the past couple of days, milder weather will return later today across North Texas with highs in the upper 60s to near 70. It will be a dry day with partly to mostly sunny skies.

Warmer air will return Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately, a round of severe weather is also possible by Thursday, especially during the afternoon hours.

Today’s weather will feature widespread cloud cover along with a chance of showers. The rain will mostly be on the light side. Below-normal temperatures are expected for today with the high remaining in the 50s.
