The sounds of laboring echoed through the M-Streets area in Dallas on Labor Day, as homeowners and contractors cleaned up after Sunday’s storm.

A lot of people are cleaning up this morning after powerful storms blew through North Texas. Encore says almost 40,000 customers are still without power, but getting the repairs done is even harder in some spots because of downed trees.

A new study rates Dallas as number 2 in the country for most traffic fatalities during the Labor Day holiday over the last 10 years. Is there any truth to that?
