The University of California, Irvine is investigating the death of a student, meanwhile the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity is currently on interim suspension and all of their activities have ceased as this is an active investigation.

An Irvine synagogue was defaced with anti-Semitic graffiti overnight Tuesday, just days after the massacre at a Pittsburgh synagogue. Employees arriving for work spotted the vandalism about 9 this morning at Beth Jacob Synagogue, 3900 Michelson Drive.

Irvine police released surveillance video Monday of a man attempting to drag an employee of a Woodbury Town Center store by the hair into a storage room.
