North Texans are leaving for their spring break travel plans today, and more travelers means more opportunities for headaches.

After thousands of flights were canceled in a post-holiday rush, the Dallas-based airline is continuing to face frustrations from customers and a examination from the Department of Transportation.

More than 3.000 flights were canceled in the U.S. on Monday as airlines try to unwind from the winter storm. More than two thirds of those cancellations came from Dallas-based Southwest.
