NBC 5, Telemundo 39 and The Cowtown want you to start your training today for the 2023 Cowtown Marathon. The Cowtown Trailblazer program is designed for people to start training for the upcoming 2023 Cowtown Half Marathon, Full Marathon, and Ultra Marathon.

Registration is in full swing for the 12th Annual Cowtown C.A.L.F. 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Walk and Run to be held at The Coyote Drive-In Theater on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Starting at 6:30 am CST, this family friendly race is an excellent way to welcome Fall.

Organizers had been monitoring weather conditions all week after days of freezing temperatures across North Texas but confirmed Friday, they don’t anticipate any delays or alterations to their races this weekend due to weather.

The potential of another round of wintry precipitation could potentially affect Fort Worth’s Cowtown Marathon on Saturday.

For now, all Cowtown races are set to start as scheduled this weekend in Fort Worth. But an announcement is set to come Friday at noon on whether wintry precipitation will affect Saturday’s events.
