Bowie High School

Students are back at Bowie High School in Arlington following a deadly shooting on campus last week. An 18-year-old died Wednesday after police say he was shot by a 17-year-old. NBC 5’s Candace Sweat was on campus when school let out.

Police are still actively working to find the murder weapon and motive for a shooting at Bowie High School Arlington that left a student dead earlier this week. NBC 5’s Vince Sims has more.

Although no classes were held at Bowie High School Friday, students were on campus to retrieve items left behind or to speak with counselors after the deadly shooting on campus Wednesday.

Arlington police say the suspect is not talking to detectives so they still don’t know what led up to the shooting.

Arlington police are still working to determine what led up to a student being shot and killed at Bowie High School on Thursday. Police are also still searching for the gun used in the murder.
