Teenager Tied Up in Pickup May Have Been Victim of Vigilantes, Fort Worth Police Say

A teenage boy who was found tied up in the back of a pickup Friday night may have been a victim of vigilantes, Fort Worth police say.About 6 p.m., a 911 caller reported seeing a group of men tie up a teen and toss him in the back of their pickup, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.The men then drove away on South Riverside Drive with the boy bound in the back. An officer in the area saw the truck and pulled it over.Police are investigating whether the men caught the teen in the act of stealing a car and took matters into their own hands.Officer Jimmy Pollazani said Saturday that he wasn't aware of any arrests or other updates in the case.  Continue reading...
