NBC 5 and Streams and Valleys invite you to join the party at the Friends of the River Party on the Plaza on Thursday night, October 25, at Montgomery Plaza in Fort Worth. Don’t miss this amazing 3.4 mile Run/Walk/Stroll and The Party. Bring the family and enter the children in the Kids 2K and don’t forget the family dog. That’s right! Your precious four legged friend is welcome – on a leash – for the Fido Fun Run and The Party.
This will be the first organized community run over the new Phyllis J. Tilley Memorial Bridge so don’t miss the fun!
Proceeds benefit Streams & Valleys, the non-profit which, for forty-one years, has worked to preserve and enhance the Trinity River corridor in Fort Worth. Funds raised help to build more hike/bike trails, promote other recreational opportunities such as boating and fishing, and continue to beautify the corridor with tree and flower plantings. Streams and Valleys make it possible for the individual to be connected to the river.
