NBC 5 will preempt Days of Our Lives Monday afternoon so that we may broadcast the memorial service for slain Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle.
Kyle, along with friend Chad Littlefield, was killed at a North Texas gun range Feb. 2. Kyle will be remembered in a public memorial at Cowboys Stadium beginning at 1 p.m. Monday. That service will be available on air and online. More information is available here.
Monday's episode of Days of Our Lives, which was to be shown at 1 p.m. on NBC 5, will now be shown at 2:05 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Days of Our Lives will return to it's normal broadcast time Tuesday afternoon.
